The Hosting Church for the program
Andrew Jackson was president of the United States. Wheeling was the only village, and without a railroad, dependent upon the National Road, which had just been completed to the Ohio River, and that river itself for transportation facilities. There were no mills and factories, and men then earned their bread by the sweat of their brow. Wood was their only fuel, and the tallow candle furnished most ...of their light. With the same pioneer spirit, with its rigid adherence to the lawss of God, and its determination to succeed was responsible for the formation of our government, and later on, for its preservations. The village of West Union was laid out by a Mr. Haney in 1816, and for a time was known as Haneytown, it was later called West Union, and finally when a post office was established the offical name was Dallas. Rev. James Hervey began to preach in the school house in the autum of 1828. At first his audience consited of only ten or twelve hearers, but in a few years the congregation had greatly increased. Many of the settlers were of Scotch or Irish descent and were Presbyterians in their religious belief. Thus in 1830 the Dallas Presbyterian church was formed. | |

So here you are. Ready to make a difference? This program perhaps is not a refined, well packaged mass produced program supplied by many of our Great Christian Publisher's today......but I can assure you that it is inspired by God and the Holy Spirit. It will take you some time, and effort, and depending upon your budget it is well worth the effort. This is the most exciting program that I have ever authored over the past 10 years. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

This is a three day program where the children are moved into a hands on approach to the scriptures learning about the past to open the doors to understanding the future in the truth that Jesus is the way..the truth..and the life. That no matter which direction in life they go North, South, East, West..they are never alone.

The program is themed around LIFE...Jesus Christ. The children have their own walking stick. As they journey there is several mini obeject lessons, set up in a skit type form outside, including Calvary, where a Roman soldier speakes to them, the Good Samaritian, Creation, where they make a mud brick that relates them to how the Isralites made bricks when they were in slavery, the Ark of the Covenant, and about the walking sticks that were placed from the 12 tribes, fun activities and crafts based around the Bible not themes of the world. Back to the Basic's of the TRUTH not relating to WORLDLY things.
